wan Silk is a vertically integrated group with its own processing facilities. Swan Silk has a well balanced manufacturing set up starting from the twisting of yarn to the manufacturing of made-ups.
Twisting
Our in-house twisting facilities are based on Italian technology. This
proves to be the foundation for a high quality end product.
Dyeing
Our dyeing facilities are equipped with hank dyeing machines
and radio frequency dryers. We also have computerized colour matching
equipments to ensure colour consistency. The dyes and chemicals used in the
process are as per international norms.
Weaving
Weaving preparatory is done on modern Swiss machines and
ensure efficient weaving. Our weaving units are equipped with European
Rapier looms like Sulzer. Based on individual customer requirements we can
produce plain and plaid fabrics up to 320 cms in width and up to 140 cms in
jacquards created with CAD / CAM systems.
Embroidery
Equipped with Japanese computerized embroidery machines, we
are able to produce a wide variety of designs. Besides, we also produce hand
made embroideries - something which the world has known India for.
Made-ups
Facility
An in-house made-up manufacturing facility ensures strict
adherence to customer requirements and specifications. Our team of craftsmen
are able to produce a wide range of made-ups namely cushions, curtains,
shams, bed spreads, duvet covers, etc. Our experience of working with
leading departmental stores world wide over the decades has made us well
versed in this field.

In-house
design team
An in-house team of well qualified designers and artists from
some of the well known textile designing schools continuously develop new
concepts as per the prevalent trends. They are responsible for new product
development and conceptualization of ideas. Equipped with several work
stations, they come with new ideas for jacquards, embroideries and other
concepts.
Staff
Swan Silk is staffed with about 700 trained employees. They
comprise of a team of highly dedicated workforce involved in product
development, production, quality control and packing and other allied
activities and serve as the foundation of the company.
